Our educational model is made up of two components: the Core Curriculum, which represents the basic academic subjects our program will cover, and the Values, which describe our approach and the key elements we want to "connect" to the subjects in our curriculum. Each of our values relate in some way to the idea of connection, whether it be the connection to a community, to one's emotions, to one's artistic voice, to one's body, to the world, to one's interests, or to one's sense of joy and wonder. Our model emerged out of a desire to achieve a new kind of balance between academic rigor and academic enchantment. We believe that both are essential attributes of a truly exceptional education.
